This model is part of my BEST Impossible Vortex Passthrough series—one of my personal favorites. It’s designed for smooth functionality with minimal filament use, making it efficient to print and satisfying to use. The geometry is simple yet effective, and the passthrough motion is especially fun to interact with.

A fun recommendation: try tossing the assembled model into the air and catching both pieces as they separate mid-flight. It’s a small detail, but it adds to the tactile experience. Advanced Tip:
For improved tolerances, go to your slicer’s advanced settings and adjust XY Size Compensation (sometimes called Horizontal Expansion) to -0.2 mm. This helps ensure a smoother fit between the vortex parts.
