This is a highly dynamic twist on the classic passthrough design. It’s engaging to print and even more enjoyable to use. The twisting motion makes it especially satisfying as a fidget, and a thoughtful color scheme can really enhance the visual and tactile experience.

 

For best results, consider using a higher infill—around 30%—for the inner section. This helps the passthrough function more smoothly and adds durability. PLA and PETG both work well for this model.

Print Settings:

  • Infill: 30% or higher for the inner section
  • Perimeters/Wall Loops: 2
  • Filament: PLA or PETG
  • Supports: None
  • Brim/Raft: Not needed

Advanced Tip for Users:
For improved tolerances, go to Print Settings > Advanced Settings > XY Size Compensation and set it to -0.2. This adjustment can significantly enhance the fit and finish of your print. (In Bambu Studio this setting is called XY Countour Compensation)
