Design Concept

This train crossing barrier is designed as a compatible spare part for Ikea and Brio wooden train sets. Its simplicity in design mirrors the classic play patterns seen in cherished wooden train collections, intended to seamlessly integrate into existing tracks.

Purpose

The barrier is functional, serving as an exciting interactive component of a wooden train set, allowing children to manage train crossings during imaginative play.

Printing Recommendations

Use PLA material for durable and child-safe components. A layer height of 0.2 mm and at least 20% infill are recommended to ensure good stability and performance. Supports may be required for the upright barrier supports.

Assembly Instructions

For printing, this model is divided into two halves, which are then glued together. Than, snap the parts into the designated slots on your existing wooden tracks, ensuring the barriers can pivot smoothly upwards and downwards.
