A simple but nice box to hold standard Mahjong tiles.

It has an engraving on the lid, all designed for 0.4mm nozzles.

The lid connects using M3 30mm steel dowels. The boxes connect using friction joins. You can use plastic welding to secure the dowels more strongly, or the 2 box halves better.

The lids use a jewelry style hook and eye latch, which screw into M3 heat set inserts in the lid.

If you use wood filament like I did, you can do a light sanding pass, followed by some wood stain to give it a more authentic finish. I also did a resin coat for long term protections.
