Design Rationale:
I spent over a thousand yuan on the lights, but at comic conventions, even a slight breeze can cause paint chipping—or worse, complete damage that requires sending the lights back to the manufacturer for repairs, which is a real headache. Moreover, under typical conditions where the light is placed on the ground with the base facing down, the tail of the light is particularly prone to paint loss. After my newly purchased GC60 suffered paint chipping, I resolved to address this issue and designed this protective case.

Instructions for Use:
To facilitate rotation and adjustment of the light, the front and rear sections of the case feature only two protruding pillars. When installing, locate the mounting bracket on the light, align one pillar with the corresponding slot, and press firmly until the case is fully fitted. Then gently rotate the case to expose the mounting bracket.

Precautions:
The Yingqi lights use a rotating locking mechanism at the tail; repeated disassembly and reassembly may loosen the retaining ring. Simply tighten it again if necessary. This issue is common in commercially available protective cases that rely on clamping at the tail.

Design Description: This protective case features a 20 mm buffer at the tail and a 10 mm buffer on the sides, providing sufficient protection against most types of drops. We’ve tested it by dropping the light from about 2 meters without causing any damage. Even in the event of an extremely tall light stand tipping over, the case can still help mitigate the impact and reduce potential damage.
