Designed by myself in OnShape
After moving into a new house, I noticed that with all of my clothes hung in my closet, the middle was starting to sag. I designed this bracket to screw into the shelf above the rod in order to relieve some of the weight in the middle.
This was designed for a rod that is 1.5" in diameter, and with a shelf ~3" above it.
The screw holes are 0.125" in diameter.
I recommend drilling pilot holes in the shelf to avoid splitting the wood.
