Recently, I’ve been diving into a lot of self‑studied projects, and my notebooks tend to end up scattered all over the place. So I decided to create a gingerbread man notebook clip to help keep them organized. (If anyone else has the same need, be sure to first stack your notebooks and measure their combined thickness, then adjust the model’s dimensions accordingly.)

After my friend saw it, they expressed interest in having a gingerbread man bookend. And so the gingerbread man bookend was born. Despite my repeated reminders that it was supposed to be a gingerbread man, they still opted for this particular color scheme—resulting in the bookend’s final design as you see it.
