This is a wall outlet cover for german and french wall outlets. (hence there being both the drill hole in the top center for the earthing prong [france] and the cut outs in the top and bottom (germany))

it is intended for usage with the Busch Jäger Plattform 65 line of outlet trims. 

It was invented because the OEM Busch Jäger parts in ivory color are deprecated yet we already had picked them for a ongoing project and could not get them delivered.

Other colors would still be available but did not fit the color scheme of the project. (and buying OEM and painting them was not the option due to lacking painting skills….)

Due to the nature of this model there will be commonalities with the OEM part it replaces, but the model is entirely my own creation.

This model shall not be used to compete with or infringe upon Busch Jäger, their parent company or any of their associates or subsidiaries. 

Buy factory made, OEM when ever possible – this model is explictly made to replace a now unobtainium color variant.

The usage of 3D prints in electrical installations may be subject to restrictions under some legislations. 

Use thermally stable and sufficiently temperature resistant materials. (I picked PETG, but also considered ASA)

Flame retardant materials are good advice. 

Additionally you will need a 3.5mm outer diameter bolt for mounting the cover to the actual outlet.

The 3mf is geared towards OWL filament in ivory (RAL1015) which is the closest in color i could find but is a shotty filament – chose a better filament if you can find one (ivory color PETG was more different to find than it should be)

If you need this model you will likely print more than one copy of it so consider printing the stackable storage boxes i made specifically for these covers too
