Introduction

The Lotus and Crane Square Vase, unearthed in Xinzheng, Henan Province in 1923, is the “museum’s prized treasure” at the Henan Provincial Museum. It represents the pinnacle of bronze art from the Spring and Autumn period, embodying the transition from the solemn and dignified style of the Western Zhou to the more dynamic and lively aesthetic of the Spring and Autumn era.

This model faithfully reproduces the vase’s majestic form:

• Top: A double-layered arrangement of fully bloomed lotus petals, with a soaring crane standing proudly at the center, as if about to take flight.
• Body: Adorned with exquisitely intricate coiled-dragon motifs and intricately carved dragon-shaped handles.
• Base: Two mythical beasts turned back, mouths agape and tongues protruding, supporting the body of the vessel.

To ensure optimal print quality and faithful reproduction of fine details, this model has undergone the following optimizations:

• High-precision detailing: Captures the original piece’s complex taotie and coiled-dragon patterns.
• Print-friendly design: (If printing in sections, please specify) The model has been pre-separated into multiple components to simplify printing and minimize the need for supports.
• Recommended layer height: We suggest using a layer height of 0.12 mm or less to preserve the delicate surface textures.
