With dramatic global climate change and frequent tectonic activity, traditional naval fleets are increasingly hampered in shallow waters and intertidal zones. To address this new battlefield reality of “shoreline-breakage combat zones,” the United Earth Defense Force (UEDF) has launched the “Landstrider Program”—the development of a heavy amphibious assault battleship capable of both maritime navigation and land traversal.
