This is a very useful tool to quickly check if optocouplers are in working condition. If the LED marked with T flashes, the optocoupler is working, if it stays off or permanently on the optocoupler is bad.
 

If you do not own a multi filament printer you can remove all the bodies in your slicer except the ones named top and bottom so the letters get recessed instead (0.4mm).
