The body is divided into several interlocking segments (head, torso, legs and tail). These joints allow the gecko to wiggle, curl, and pose in a fluid, lifelike manner.

The model captures the essence of a leopard gecko or a fat-tailed gecko, featuring the characteristic broad head, stocky limbs, and splayed toes.
