  • The prototype is the “stone lion” from traditional Chinese architecture—also known as the “house‑guarding lion”—which faithfully captures the iconic features of the classic stone lion: its swirling mane, ornate sash, and crouching posture atop a pedestal. The stone lion is one of the quintessential symbols of Chinese cultural heritage.
