Thrall, birth name Go'el, is a central character in Blizzard Entertainment's Warcraft and World of Warcraft franchises.As the son of Durotan, chieftain of the Frostwolf Clan, he was adopted in infancy by human lieutenant Edras Blackmoore and trained as a gladiator.After escaping Durnholde Keep, he inherited the Doomhammer and became the third Warchief of the Horde. He led the orcs to break free from the curse of demon blood, guiding their transformation from savage plunderers into a civilized people of crafts and skill. He founded Durotar in Kalimdor and established Orgrimmar as its capital.
