Flower Totems are modular 3D printed vases shaped like vertically extruded flowers, available in three heights: S, M, and L.

Each totem consists of two parts:

- Inner core (IN) – the structural stem and water container.

- Outer shell (OUT) – the flower body that slides smoothly over the inner core.

The inner piece acts as the central axis — the “stem” — while the outer flower glides concentrically around it, creating a clean layered composition. When assembled, the result is a sculptural vase with strong vertical presence, functioning both as a flower holder and as a decorative totem.

Designed for color experimentation, you can print the inner and outer parts in contrasting tones, mix sizes, stack sections, or build elongated multicolor compositions. Grouped together, they create a playful architectural bouquet — almost like a small forest of flowers.

3D Printing Settings

Inner Core (IN) – Water Container

Print upright, base flat on the build plate.

This part must be watertight if used for fresh flowers.

Recommended settings for watertight PLA (PETG preferred):

- Layer height: ≤ 0.20 mm (0.16–0.18 mm ideal)

- Perimeters / wall lines: 4–6 minimum (cover the entire thickness with walls if possible)

- Infill: 100% recommended, or high infill (≥ 80%)

- Infill overlap: increase to 15–20%

- Flow rate: increase slightly (+2–5%)

- Top/Bottom layers: sufficient to fully seal (≥ 6)

- Print slower than usual for better bonding

- Material: PETG strongly recommended for better sealing and layer adhesion

Ensure strong layer bonding and avoid under-extrusion. The model is already hollowed correctly — no internal modifications are needed.

Outer Flower (OUT) – Sliding Shell

Print upright, as modeled.

This part is solid by design but should be printed as a hollow perimeter shell. Settings:

- Infill: 0%

- Top layers: 0 (keep top open)

- Bottom layers: High count — minimum 10 for size L

- Perimeters / wall lines: Minimum 3 (more for extra strength)

- Layer height: 0.20 mm or higher acceptable

The reinforced bottom layers are essential, especially for the large size, because this base acts as the structural ring sliding over the inner core.

After printing, you can orient the outer piece in two ways:

- Solid side up with central hole visible

- Open petal cavity side up
