How many times have you calibrated a filament and ended up printing yet another little square destined straight for the bin? This time, I decided to do things differently.
The idea is simple: instead of wasting material on a test with no practical use, I designed a thin PLA sheet in standard A4 format, compatible with common ring binders. The result is a rigid, lightweight, and functional divider — perfect for keeping documents, technical sheets, receipts, or anything else neatly organized.
How it works
This model was designed as a first layer calibration tool. Printing it completely flat lets you visually and physically check bed adhesion, Z offset, line width, and surface uniformity — all in a single print. If the sheet comes out well, your calibration is spot on. If not, you still get concrete, immediate feedback on what needs fixing.
💡 Pro tip: Print this sheet every time you load a new filament profile and write the filament name and date on it with a marker. Over time, it'll become a real physical archive of your calibrations!
If you find this useful, leave a like and download the model — it really helps me keep sharing quality content! 🙏
