20 mm Top-Glass Vent Spacer for Centauri Carbon

Many materials—like PLA or TPU—prefer a cooler build chamber. Instead of cracking the front door or removing the top glass entirely, this snap-fit spacer lifts the top glass by 20 mm to create a clean ventilation gap. If, like me, you only need a small vent while printing, this is made for you.

Why You’ll Like It

  • Optimal airflow: Keeps chamber temps in check for PLA/TPU without overcooling the print area.
  • No tape, no glue: Thoughtful geometry locks into the chassis grooves—it sits firmly, no extra fastening needed.
  • Tool-free swap: Not printing cool-loving materials? Pop the spacers off and close the glass for ASA/ABS or higher-temp jobs.
  • Peace of mind: Worried the “dancing” printer might slide the glass sideways or back? Pair it with the FNT Glass limiter.

How to Use

  1. Place one spacer on each side at the top frame (print two for best stability).
  2. Rest the top glass on the spacers—the gap is now a consistent 20 mm.

Print Notes

  • Quantity: 2 pieces recommended
  • Material: PLA or PETG (both are fine)
  • Infill: 15–30%
  • Supports: Not required
  • Orientation: Print flat for best strength and surface finish

Stay cool when you need it—seal up when you don’t. Simple, tidy, and purpose-built.
