Following the advice of many veteran 3D printing enthusiasts, I ended up accumulating far too many different types of printers—so much so that my workspace was completely overrun. Then a fellow user suggested I create a modular floor system that could be seamlessly connected to existing spaces…

Hmmmm…

Why not just design an expandable floor module? That way, you can easily extend your workspace in either the horizontal or vertical direction—simply by swapping out the connecting components and rotating the floor panel 180 degrees!

• No need for an AMS (Automated Material Supply) system.
• Includes a proprietary connection mechanism that allows for seamless integration with the base room.
• Does not feature magnetic attachment points.

• The floor module can be expanded both horizontally and vertically—just install the appropriate connectors, then rotate the floor panel 180 degrees.

    

• If you’d like to add a fourth expansion bay—first extending horizontally, then vertically—you can simply mirror the floor geometry within Bambu Studio.
