🦕 3D Scan Description – Triceratops
This 3D model was captured with the Revopoint MetroY from a single scan of a Triceratops.
The scanning process was done with a grid resolution of 0.05 mm, allowing excellent capture of the dinosaur’s shapes and overall structure.
Only one modification was made: the feet were flattened to make FDM 3D printing easier and ensure perfect stability on the build plate.
No other edits were performed — the model remains true to the original raw scan.
This file is therefore ideal for direct printing while keeping the authenticity of the original capture.
