I created the hexwall set to cover the walls in my workshop with a 3D printed structure. I designed the individual tiles as hexagons and made a 2 part model, frame and insert, so that the design is interchangeable by swapping out the snap-in inserts.

The frame parts (BodyV2) are connected together with cables ties (I used 2.5mm). The are some additional frame parts that you can print if you want to make the wall flush at the top/bottom/sides

I've created a blank insert so that you can easily come up with your own designs to come up with their own designs, you will find both STL and STEP (exclusive to Nexprint) versions. The only real rule is that the insert needs some flex do it so that the two tabs can be slotted into place on the frame.

NOTE that the tabs go to the top/bottom

I've included some bonus tiles in this set, an Ironman one that I created and also a Batman tile and a Harley Tile both of which were adapted from free SVG files I found online. For best results you can use colour swap at layer height or even multi-material filament swapping (whatever flavour of that you have) to get similar colour results to that which you'll see in my photos
