This is a lithophane stand that holds either a 4x6, or 5x7 lithophane in a frame. There are two frames included - a 4x6 that is a solid piece; and a 5x7 that is split into two pieces that can be glued together. It is split up because my print bed was not large enough to print a 5x7 frame.

There is a lip inside of both frames for you to spread some glue on so that the lithophane can be glued into the frame. One edge on both frames is totally flat and rectangular and is meant to be inserted into the slot on the stand. The slot has a 5-degree backward angle on it and is tight enough that it will hold the frame semi-permanently.

This is also intended to be used with a real candle as the distance between the candle base and the actual lithophane is pretty far. So far in tests, there has been no observable damage from heat and the candle is plenty bright enough to illuminate the lithophane in a dark room. Pictures are included of both a generally dark photo and a lighter photo being illuminated.

The height of the lithophane is also tall enough so that when the candle is initially lit, more of the middle/top of the lithophane is lit up and will continue to illuminate the whole thing as the candle burns all the way down.
