After printing (a lot) of the Openforge Wooden Wall tiles remixed by Yandalf, I lacked a Door-tile.

I wanted it to be functional, so after a few (= a lot) tries, I made a very wide but functional door to fit in to the Openforge system.

With the Openlock triplex base you can click the tiles together in a limitless configuration of your choice.

I added aditional beams on the bottom, because I found that printing some tiles without them gives a very bad texture at the bottom. And if I put the time and money in tiles, I want them to be pretty and sturdy.

you'll need to glue the top beam on the side beams, and the fit of the door in the base is quite tight but sturdy. I didn't want a door that would fly open but actually needs to be "pushed".

Instructions for the openforge/openlock system:

  • Print the tiles of your choice.
  • Remove the small supporting pins on the sides.
  • Print Openlock clips to connect the tiles.
  • Push one or more Openlock clips into the tiles (depending on the size of the tile 1 can be enough, 2 works best with big tiles).
  • Connect the tiles together.
