Universal Car Phone & Tablet Holder

A simple and versatile car mount designed to hold smartphones, tablets, GPS units, and other devices. The holder can be attached to either the steering wheel or the vehicle’s infotainment screen, providing a convenient viewing position while parked.

The design is lightweight, easy to print, and requires no additional hardware or assembly. The flexible hook shape allows quick installation and removal, making it ideal for navigation, media consumption, diagnostics, or working from your vehicle.

Printing

Recommended settings:

• Layer height: 0.2-0.24 mm

• Walls: 3–4

• Infill: 10–25%

• Supports: Not required

• Material: PETG or ASA recommended for higher temperature resistance inside vehicles

Print orientation:
Print the model flat on its side as provided in the STL file for maximum strength.

Important Safety Notice

⚠️ This holder is intended for use while the vehicle is parked. Do not use it in a way that obstructs visibility, interferes with vehicle controls, or distracts the driver while driving.

⚠️ If printed in PLA, avoid prolonged exposure to high temperatures inside parked vehicles, as deformation may occur.

Why I Designed It

I wanted a simple holder that could quickly support both a phone and a tablet inside the car without permanent installation, suction cups, or expensive accessories. The result is a compact universal mount that can be moved between different positions in seconds.
