Striker Eureka is a 5th Generation (Mark V) Mecha Hunter manufactured in Australia—and the only active Mark V unit featured in the film. It was widely regarded as one of the most powerful and fastest mechs of its time.

Basic Specifications & Background

  1. Commissioning & Deployment: Commissioned on November 2, 2019, Striker Eureka was initially stationed at the Sydney Base before being redeployed to the Shatterdome in Hong Kong. Its pilots were Hercules “Huck” Hansen (father) and Chuck Hansen (son), with the final mission flown by Chuck alongside Marshal Stacker Pancoast. On January 12, 2025, the mech executed a self‑destruct nuclear detonation mission in the Challenger Deep of the Mariana Trench, resulting in the deaths of both pilots.

  2. Dimensions & Weight: Standing 76.2 meters (250 feet) tall and weighing 2,087 tons, Striker Eureka is powered by an X12 Super Core Internal Turbine Drive. Its operating system is the “Voyager 12” Tactical Control Pod, while the head features a TY/Escape Hatch dual‑seat configuration that seamlessly integrates piloting and emergency egress functions, complemented by an amber‑faced platinum armor shield equipped with a photochromic display system.
