2. Design Inspiration

This tea‑drinking kitten design draws its inspiration from the fusion of urban “healing aesthetics” and cute, anthropomorphic styling:

- Using a playful kitten as the central motif, the design recreates the serene, cozy scene of “brewing tea by the hearth,” while incorporating anthropomorphic attire—such as a top hat, scarf, and leather shoes—to evoke a retro yet whimsical atmosphere. Whether displayed on the dining table to add a touch of charm to everyday life or placed on a desk as a soothing desktop ornament, this piece is both functional and visually delightful.

 

3. Printing Requirements

- Printing Process: FDM (Fused Deposition Modeling)
- Recommended Filaments: PLA (easy to print, delivers excellent surface gloss—ideal for display); PETG (higher strength, perfect for long‑term placement)
- Key Parameters:
- Layer Height: 0.2 mm—balancing fine detail with printing speed
- Infill Density: 20%–30%—ensuring structural integrity while keeping weight manageable
- Nozzle Temperature: 200–220°C (for PLA); 220–250°C (for PETG)
- Bed Temperature: 50–60°C (for PLA); 70–80°C (for PETG)
- Printing Speed: 40–60 mm/s—reducing to 20–30 mm/s in areas requiring intricate detailing
- Post‑Processing: Carefully remove supports using diagonal pliers, then use 180–400 grit sandpaper to smooth out any residual marks, paying special attention to details like the teacup and scarf.

 

4. Assembly Instructions

1. Post‑Processing:
- After removing supports, carefully sand the surface with fine‑grit sandpaper. If you plan to add color, apply a primer first, then use acrylic paints or model paints to achieve a rich, vintage finish.
2. Placement & Fixation:
- For tabletop display: Simply place the piece on a flat, stable surface. To prevent sliding, you can affix an anti‑slip mat to the base.
