The inspiration for designing this wrench came from a recent move due to a job reassignment. During the relocation, I accidentally lost one of my wrenches. When I went to install two new workbenches, I realized I didn’t have the right wrench on hand—using pliers to tighten the bolts wasn’t secure enough, and applying force with pliers was both awkward and inefficient. That’s when I had the idea to 3D print a custom wrench. After iterating through two design iterations and conducting print tests, I successfully created a wrench that perfectly fit the workbench assembly requirements.
Printing configuration recommendations: We suggest maximizing the number of wall layers whenever possible, and we recommend using ABS for printing (though materials with higher mechanical properties, such as PLA or other engineering-grade filaments, are also perfectly suitable).
