Description
Zibo Haidai Tower
Located at the highest point of Zibo’s Qisheng Lake Park, Haidai Tower is designed in the architectural style of the Han Dynasty, featuring ten stories—nine above ground and one underground. With a total floor area of 11,642 square meters and a height of 67 meters, it serves as the eastern–western central landmark of Qisheng Lake Park and the northern terminus of the urban core axis of Zibo New District.

Assembly Guide:
1. The model is a 50% scaled-down version of the original, representing the smallest feasible print size; further scaling down is not recommended.
2. For material usage, the eaves are printed with Esun gray PLA, the r3d light brown PLA is used for the main structure, and the platform is printed with 2.0 silver‑colored PLA in three shades of green.
3. When assembling doors and windows, be sure to align them precisely.
4. Depending on the specific printer and its build plate dimensions, if the model is positioned close to the edge of the print bed, we recommend re‑splitting the model into multiple parts.
5. The lighting assembly utilizes circular disc lights; if you plan to print the model at an enlarged scale, pay special attention to the base layer during printing.
6. The model incorporates interlocking features that may become overly tight when using materials with high thermal expansion coefficients, making it difficult to disassemble after printing. Be sure to carefully inspect these connections before assembly.
7. Due to their small dimensions, the model’s columns are prone to breakage—use a relatively rigid material to ensure durability.
8. While the eaves feature some structural connections, we’ve retained this design to optimize print speed and ease of model removal—these connections do not detract from the overall aesthetic, as they remain hidden within the model once assembled. Removing support structures can significantly reduce printing time.

9. Lighting Setup
1. Use Topaz components for the lighting system, positioning them at the base of the model.
The lights create a wing‑like effect that beautifully illuminates the structure.

2. Alternatively, you can use your own lighting setup—just be sure to position the lights correctly, both top and bottom (if arranging your own lighting, make sure to align everything properly, or the lighting will appear asymmetrical).
The lights cast a soft glow through the doors, windows, and gaps between each level of the model, creating the stunning effect shown in the image below.
