This is a simple spool rewinder that will chuck into a drill (must be larger than 3/8" chuck). I have used this to turn my old spools into storage devices. I have used many spools for my wife's yarn collection. putting it on a spool removes any chance of it getting tangled and a large roll of yarn fits perfectly on a 1kg spool. The one in the photo was a brand new roll of yarn. I have also used these for Christmas lights. It is simple to use just tape the end of whatever you want to spool in the middle and gently run the drill in forward and watch it spool up easy. A note for assembly. Glue in the pin once everything is printed. The square shaft should take the brunt of the load and twisting force so CA glue should work perfectly fine. That is what I used.
