The Story Behind the Character:

Did you know that Master Karin isn’t just a fictional character? The great Akira Toriyama himself drew inspiration from his own cat, who would peacefully sleep by his side, when designing this guardian of the Sacred Tower. We wanted to capture that essence—the blend of serenity, feline wisdom, and the unmistakable legacy of Master Toriyama. It’s a design created with respect and affection for all fans who grew up watching Dragon Ball.

Model Details:

I’ve created two versions for you to choose the one that best suits your style: a multicolor version and a single-color version.

1. Multicolor Version: Designed to highlight the character’s classic aesthetic using the original colors.

2. Monochrome Version: Perfect for an elegant, sculptural finish (in silk, marble, or matte colors), where shadows accentuate the ornamental pattern.

Printing Guide & Technical Tips (IMPORTANT!)

To achieve the best possible results—especially with the multicolor version—please follow these recommendations:

🛠️ Critical Technical Tips for the Multicolor Version:

• This is the most crucial point. The eyes are black, while the face is white. If you use standard or translucent white filament, the black will seep through underneath, resulting in a dirty gray tone. We strongly recommend using high-quality Matte White filament, as it tends to be much more opaque and better covers the underlying color.

• If you’re using a single-nozzle printer with a material-change system, proper flushing calibration is essential. When switching from black to white, insufficient purging can contaminate the white layer, ruining the facial finish. Be sure to increase the purge multiplier or perform manual calibration when transitioning between dark and light colors.

The hanging hole at the back is designed as a negative feature. Please check its dimensions if you plan to scale the model larger or smaller.
