My wife needed to slice a bunch of bananas for pudding.  Normally she does it with a paring knife, and 2 out of 10 times manages to cut herself.  Created this to make the job easier and faster.   The banana in the picture was a little less ripe than it should have been, still works fine by pushing down on both long edges through the banana, flip it over and run your thumb along the banana to finish the slice.  Drops off nicely into a bowl or cutting board.  If you try to cut a very green banana, don't be surprised if it doesn't work or breaks.  The cutting edge is strong, but needs to be narrow to cleanly cut.
