This is an Hybrid PLA-TPU Cover i made for my Kobo Glo, It is Print in Place so there are no worries for assembly, the only part you need to add is the KickstandStopper which is in a separate file.
Things to bear in mind:
-You need a well tuned printer
-The kickstand has a max range of 120° but i suggest to limit yourself to 90°
-When just printed the kickstand will have some resistance, it's normal, gently and slowly open it without applying too much force
-I call this an Hybrid PLA-TPU cover, but you can print this entirely of PLA, although once you insert your kobo in it you need to break the cover to retrieve it
Print Recommendations: -I suggest enabling mouse ears for the brim as the angles do tend to curl up -The Material change from PLA to TPU should be made just before or on the same layer of the bridging for the upper layers where the kobo sits (The blue is the TPU and The black is the PLA)![]()
