• Alternating matte black and deep anthracite gray squares, featuring subtle gradient effects and discreet metallic highlights—inspired by the cosmic depths explored in the novel.
• Thick, textured border edges with raised detailing (cracked leather patterns and minimalist engravings evoking runes or neural circuits).
• Integrated base with a slight elevation for easy gluing or assembly.
• Micro-textured details: fine cracks, weathered patina, and iridescent reflections on the dark squares—
