Description:

I explored the lightsaber section, but couldn't find any that met my needs: too complex to print, too simplistic, too rigid and inflexible, too delicate to play with, etc.

So I decided to create a modular model that would allow me to easily design a virtually infinite number of lightsaber variations. Initially for personal use with just a couple of models, but given the great interest shown by nephews and cousins, who snapped them up and clamored for new variations, I decided to expand the project by increasing the number of available parts.

For now, I'm starting to publish a small selection of the models I've already created, the ones I consider most refined, and then adding new ones in the future.

Printing Instructions:

I recommend using my print profiles, optimized for individual pieces, with support, adaptive layer height, and the Arachne wall generator already set to meet the needs of the models, where necessary.

Assembly Instructions:

To build a single-bladed sword (standard length with 3 blades; as shown in one of the uploaded photos, you can assemble as many parts as you like), you'll need the following parts, which are assembled by screwing them together in the order listed below:

1x Blade Tip

3x Blade

1x Hilt

1x Bottom Connector

1x Accessory

To build a double-bladed sword, you'll need the following parts:

1x Blade Tip

3x Blade

1x Hilt

1x Double-blade Connector

1x Hilt

3x Blade

1x Blade Tip

If you encounter adhesion issues when printing the blade parts (I've had issues with some filaments), I've uploaded an alternative print profile that takes longer but ensures better adhesion to the build plate. If you still encounter issues with this, I recommend printing one blade at a time.

The lightsabers are hollow inside to reduce the material and print time required, as well as making them more flexible to impacts. If desired, this empty space can be used to insert a rigid wooden or metal rod to make the sword more resistant, or an LED strip to add a lighting effect.

Post-processing:

Some of the sword's components require supports or brims, which are not particularly difficult to remove and do not require any special post-printing care.

Some models may have stringing inside the screws; I have confirmed that this does not interfere with the screw's function in any way and can be easily removed with small scissors.
