This is my “Wisdom” series—the Wisdom Black-faced Spoonbill.

The Black-faced Spoonbill is a bird in the family Threskiornithidae, order Pelecaniformes. Adult Black-faced Spoonbills have entirely white plumage, with a long, straight, and flattened bill that tapers to a broad, spoon-shaped tip. The area from the base of the bill, across the forehead, face, lores, eye region, and throat, is a continuous patch of bare black skin, which is how the bird gets its name.

This model makes a charming little desk ornament: when work isn’t going well, when your boss comes up with an odd request, or when your computer crashes, simply gazing at its wise expression can help calm your nerves. It also works beautifully as a display piece on a home shelf, adding emotional warmth and character to your living space.

Printing this model requires support structures; it’s best to use either dissolvable support material or water-soluble support.
