200g trial‑size material bins typically don’t fit into box-style automated powder feed systems, so I designed this fixture to expand a 200g trial bin into a 1kg-capacity bin. The fixture requires no glue—simply clamp the smaller bin in the center and tighten the screws.
It’s also compatible with custom‑made sealed material bins, such as rice containers or similar storage solutions.
The design consists of just two parts, weighing approximately 70g and 80g, making it a material‑efficient option. If you don’t mind the color, you can even use leftover filament for printing.
Both PETG and PLA are suitable for printing; PETG offers greater strength and durability.
The fixture works seamlessly with Elegoo’s paper‑based small material bins as well as other 200g material bins.
