Bacchus is the Roman god of wine, corresponding to Dionysus in Greek mythology.
Roman Bronze Bust of Bacchus: Crafted in the 1st century AD using the lost-wax casting technique, this piece stands 16 cm tall. The sculpture features a softly rounded face, long flowing hair cascading over the shoulders, a wreath of ivy adorning the head, and clusters of grapes dangling from the ears. Dressed in a flowing robe, the figure gazes downward with a slight tilt of the head to the right, exuding a serene and tender youthful grace.
