This is a simple magnetic slider fidget made from three 3D printed parts: the housing, the slider, and the lid. The slider moves back and forth inside the housing and is held in place by neodymium magnets, which create a satisfying magnetic resistance.

The model is small, easy to print, and designed to be a simple pocket fidget. You can pause the print to insert the housing magnets, or install them after printing depending on your preference.

I used 5×3 mm neodymium magnets. There is also an optional third magnet slot in the middle of the housing that repels the slider, which makes the movement a bit harder and more satisfying.

ASSEMBLY

Pause the print at layer 60 to insert magnets.

Make sure you are inserting them the right way!

You only need to pauze once for the “Hausing” magnets - you can put the magnets for the slider after the print.

I used 5mm x 3mm NEODYM Magnets. There is a third hole in the "Hausing" in the MIDLE - it is for an optional magnet thet will REPEL the "Slider" (so its harder to push = more satisfying)

A 3D-printable magnetic slider fidget consisting of an outer frame and an internal sliding core guided along a curved track. The motion is driven and stabilized by embedded magnets, creating a controlled snap effect at each end of travel. Designed for repetitive tactile interaction and smooth linear movement within a compact form factor. Minor sanding or cleaning of the surfaces may be necessary (at least I sanded them).

If you need to glue the magnets (as I do), you will need a glue lol. And its also needed to glue the "Hausing" and the "Lid" together (tutorial in the description)
