Cream Artifact – A Cute Kitten!

1. Recently, users have been reporting frequent printing failures and issues with filament warping—often resulting in “fried noodles.” Upon investigation, we discovered that the latest version of Bambu Studio was unable to detect the support structures I had manually added when opening Xiao Mao’s configuration file.
2. To address this, I’ve introduced a “Support Reinforcement” print profile, which has successfully passed testing on the A1 printer. For users who previously struggled to print Xiao Mao, please try printing using the 03. Support Reinforcement setting.
3. While the Support Reinforcement profile should reliably ensure successful prints, the supports located at the spring-loaded side features may be slightly more challenging to remove. We recommend using water‑mouth pliers for gentle, precise removal of these supports.

After a long wait, the second ointment artifact has finally gone live—drawing on lessons learned from our earlier tech puppy design:

1. Supports larger toothpaste tubes, with increased extrusion space for smoother, more consistent material flow.
2. To avoid multi‑color printing, we’ve optimized the design to print the eyes separately—taking just ten minutes to complete, with manual loading still an option.
3. The ears and claws are recessed, ensuring that friends who plan to paint their models won’t have to worry about paint bleeding beyond the intended boundaries.
4. A smaller extrusion gap delivers cleaner, more precise extrusion results.

Other Notes

To minimize overhang defects in the ear region, the model is printed at an angled orientation. Both the support structure and line width have passed my rigorous PETG print tests, resulting in flawless prints.

Each object’s parameters have been configured individually; we strongly recommend printing directly without disabling the subject’s raft layer.
