The Model

This model is a HEAT-FS inspired projectile that can either serve as a cool decoration or a functional projectile for a potato cannon.

The round features both a hollow Head, as well as a solid one. The hollow Head is intended to be filled with plaster or concrete to give the model adequate weight.
It also has a groove in between the main body and the head, that allows the addition of a TPU ring to seal better if used in a potato cannon.

For use in a potato cannon, the model was made to fit inside a DN 50 PVC tube and still be able to slide well (without the TPU ring, with the ring the seal is tight)

The Fins are pulled into the deployed position by a rubber band.

I also included the step files so that dimensions can more easily be edited for specific requirements.

The Fins need to be secured using either a short piece of filament or a cylinder of the size (dxh) 2.8mm x 10mm. I used the cylinder method and melted them after attaching the fins to the main body with them, so they won't fall out. This is a necessary step.
