The SPAV-32 “Locust” Self-Propelled Artillery Vehicle is a mass-produced, low-cost fire support platform designed to overwhelm targets with swarms of self-guiding munitions. Stripped of luxury systems and traditional turret assemblies, the Locust embodies battlefield pragmatism: maximum ammunition storage, a simple launch frame, and a rugged chassis capable of enduring long deployments with minimal maintenance.

Its payload consists of smart artillery shells fitted with limited onboard thrusters, allowing for mid-flight course correction. While their fuel reserves are short-lived, they provide enough maneuverability to compensate for wind, distance, or moving targets; delivering precision firepower without the need for high-end guidance systems.

The vehicle itself is remotely operated, reducing the need for onboard crews and enabling swarms of Locusts to be fielded simultaneously. By cutting out unnecessary armor and turret mechanisms, production costs remain low, allowing mass deployment across entire fronts. On the battlefield, this strategy turns each Locust into a mobile ammunition hive, capable of saturating areas with guided ordnance far beyond what traditional artillery can sustain.

Cheap, efficient, and disposable, the SPAV-32 isn’t built for survival—it’s built for sheer fire density. Where it rolls, the ground trembles under the weight of endless bombardment, and enemies are forced to choose between retreat or annihilation.

The vehicle itself is modeled and has NO moving parts such as wheels, turrets etc. In the future I may modify them and enable simple articulation. The model is also presented in two options for printing, split in half or as a whole piece.
