History

The Minotaur originates from Greek mythology. It was a creature with the body of a man and the head of a bull, imprisoned in the labyrinth of Knossos on Crete. The hero Theseus eventually defeated the beast, aided by Ariadne and her famous thread, which guided him safely out of the labyrinth. Since antiquity, the Minotaur has symbolized power, ferocity, and mythical strength.
