The Sanlv SP2 bottom drying box (with an arrow indicator on the top of the lid)

We recommend using high‑temperature materials such as ABS for printing—PETG is the absolute minimum!

The finished print weighs just 46 grams and takes about 2 hours to complete. It can hold approximately 90 grams of molecular sieves or silica gel desiccant granules, with a pore size of 2 mm for exceptional breathability (be sure to consider the diameter of the desiccant particles to prevent leakage).

The original drying box included with the printer is quite small and sits directly adjacent to the humidity sensor, which can lead to significant inaccuracies in assessing the humidity levels within the chamber. This updated version can be placed in the middle of the bottom compartment of a desiccator.
