The optional  LED backlight insert brings the iconic emblem to life with stunning depth and illumination. Designed from high-quality(ish) reference images, the intricate design captures the game's signature style, while the customizable LED lighting (I recommend WLED) adds a dramatic glow, perfect for display in a gaming setup or collector’s shelf.

Assembly is easy, slot the pieces together and a dab of super glue should hold it. If there are tolerance issues with the ring, a quick dip in 70C water to soften the plastic should solve it, however I had no issues.

You can either print the head, III and ring and glue it together, or pick any of the three backplates. A simple backplate for no LED, a 4mm one for ultra thin and a standard 10mm 5050 is included. Be advised I am still refining the design, so you might want to wait a bit until I polish it… I am officially out of black filament so…

Also, the head has been retouched a bit, I added veins, cracks, ridges on the forehead and the… ear tentacles? to give it a little more depth and shadow.  The model I printed is looking a bit… flat, new version should pop much better. If you decide to print it, please share some pics!
