Hourglass of Skulls – Multi-Color Bookmark

A striking design that captures the passage of time in its darkest form — an hourglass held by skeletal hands, slowly filling with skulls instead of sand. Printed flat, but full of depth and detail, this gothic-style bookmark blends art and symbolism into something both beautiful and grim.

The model measures 109 × 200 mm, and is printed at 0.08 mm layer height (with a base layer of 0.16 mm) and 100% infill to preserve all fine HueForge shading.
You can print at higher layer heights, as long as they remain under the minimum depth of 0.48 mm. Maximum depth is 2.4 mm, and actual depth used is 2.5 mm.

Filaments used (4 total):

• Black – PolyLite Black (TD: 0.3)
• Shadow Gray – Chrominal (TD: 3)
• Gray – BambuLab Tough Gray (TD: 1.8)
• Bone White – BambuLab Bone White (TD: 5)

Manual Filament Swap Instructions:

1. Start with Black
2. At Layer 13 (1.12 mm), switch to Shadow Gray
3. At Layer 17 (1.44 mm), switch to Gray
4. At Layer 21 (1.76 mm), switch to Bone White for the rest of the print

Pauses are pre-set in the .hfp file, making this print AMS-free and easy on any single-extruder machine.
