☝️This is the Centauri Carbon spool holder, allowing you to print without supports!

Each compartment of the box is designed to hold a 1 kg filament spool.

We tested it by placing a 2 kg weight in each box and confirmed there were no issues.

You can also easily fit spools weighing less than 1 kg.

Attach the spool holder by removing five screws—one on each side, one in the center, and one on each end.

※If you’ve installed the new spool holder belt with CANVAS, you’ll need to remove it first.

🫳Assembly Instructions

• Assemble the printed parts.

※The connecting parts may require firm pressure to snap into place.

• Slide the box into the connecting parts and insert it.

• Once both boxes are attached, you’re done—now simply mount them onto the sides of your Centauri Carbon.

Red circle indicates the screw locations where you should attach the holders.

If the screw holes weren’t printed cleanly, you can carefully enlarge them using a screwdriver or soldering iron.

🙂As a bonus, we’ve also prepared simple spool-mount data that fits perfectly into each compartment.

It likely accommodates standard spools up to 200 mm in diameter, 60 mm inner diameter, and 70 mm wide (with a few millimeters extra tolerance).

• PETG is recommended as the material.

The new spool holder for Centauri Carbon, originally introduced with CANVAS, proved difficult to use in my setup, so I created this updated version. Since I haven’t worked with CAD software before, the resulting design might not be particularly polished.

I’m sharing it in hopes it could help others facing similar challenges.
