This small (<45g!) item can be used in several ways.
If you have only a small amount of refill filament left, you can simply put this adapter into the cardboard spool core, and store your filament using no more space than actually required. You can fit more spools into a single vacuum bag.
- If you have a refill filament, but have no Bambu Lab reusable spools, you can print one for yourself. OR: take an already existing single use filament spool from an other manucafturer (see my example with Jayo3D below), cut it in half (with a simple hand saw it will take about half a minute!), put your refill filament on it, secure it with this small adapter - and you're ready to print!
The model contains two versions of the inner part: one with a solid cylinder, the other is a lighter version using less filament (but still working perfectly).
Reuse your empty filament spools instead of throwing them away ;)
Of course it works with cardboard spool too.
The adapter has a small inner diameter to fit any spools, even those with a tight hole.
