A sling that fits under your desk.

You can print as many as you need for the depth of the thing you need to sling! It consists of three pieces, the sling, which you will need at least one of, the base which you will need at least one of and the stop.

I needed this because I have a big desk that has a support strut at the front. Most slings and drawers assume a flat piece of wood to attach to. I also thought a draw was overkill just to keep a few things in, close to hand.

Supports required for the sling, but I guess you could print the stop upside down to prevent the need for supports.

120mm x 120mm for the base, with a lip of 10mm either side to stop things falling out.
The sling and stop are 120mm across with 20mmx20mm sides to screw into the desk (M4-30 self tapping wood screws).
There's a 50mm gap from the base to the underside of the desk.

The parts need some glue, but they slot together easily.

I've used two bases to put my 200mm ruler, calipers and angle measure in a handy place to grab. Hopefully someone else might find these useful.

I do have it fully parametric in FreeCAD, but I need to work on it a little after having to restore a backup after I broke it :(
I can however produce different sizes if needed before I release the FreeCAD file - just let me know and I'll add them to the list. For instance, I've created another set for a notepad and pencil, before I broke the file!
