My 200-600 was missing the tripod foot/handle when I bought it, so I thought instead of buying a $100 OEM one or a $30 aftermarket one to trust my thousand dollar lens to, why not trust a self engineered $0.90 lump of plastic?

I updated the file for a heat set insert sized hole on the bottom.

I used the short ¼ inch screw from a Peak Design accessory to screw it on (14mm wide for the channel I made), but in theory any ¼ inch tripod screw would work so long as it fits within the channel, maybe have to use or make a simple washer with whatever thickness you would need to make it snug, %100 infill on that if needed. I made it work with the common wide tripod/camera 1/4in screw, but for my original model I just made it work with what I had lying around.

So with the orientation of the print, the wall count, the screw, and the tight almost interference fit of the cutout, I trust it to hold the lens and camera up. Been using it for the last week and carrying it and nothing so far, noises or slop.

*** Trust it at your own risk - This works for me, for now. It may fail, so have a strap or safety in place***

Peak Design's small one works great, generic thick ones should fit as well
