🌿 Source of Inspiration

This model draws its creative inspiration from the “tea ceremony culture” inherent in traditional Chinese literati gatherings, encapsulating the intricate mortise-and-tenon joinery of classical furniture and the warm, tactile elegance of tea ware within a compact, square form.

In terms of design, the tea table’s clean, linear contours echo the understated sophistication of Ming-style furniture, while the spiral texture on the teapot body and the open, flared shape of the teacup faithfully replicate the timeless aesthetic of classic Yixing zisha teaware. The entire piece is rendered in a pristine white, preserving the restrained grace of Chinese craftsmanship while leveraging modern 3D printing techniques to transform this refined elegance into a tangible, desktop‑ready art form—capturing the essence of “slowly savoring time, leisurely appreciating the passage of years.”

🛠️ Printing Configuration Guide

Basic Parameters

- Printing Technology: FDM (Fused Deposition Modeling)
- Recommended Filament: Matte PLA
- Layer Height: 0.2 mm (striking a balance between fine detail and print efficiency, ensuring crisp, clear rendering of the tea table’s wood grain and the teapot’s spiral detailing)
- Infill Density: 15%–18% (for the tea table frame, we recommend increasing the infill to 22% to enhance structural stability and load-bearing capacity)
- Print Temperature: Nozzle 200–210°C, Bed 60°C
- Print Speed: 40–45 mm/s for outer walls and detailed areas; 60–75 mm/s for infill regions
- Cooling Settings: Maintain 100% fan speed throughout the print to ensure rapid cooling and precise layer adhesion for PLA

Special Configurations

- No Glue Required: PLA adheres reliably to the heated bed at 60°C, eliminating the need for additional glue or tape.
- Support Structures Needed: For overhanging elements such as the tea table legs, the teapot spout, and the teapot handle, enable automatic support generation with a support density of 10%–12% and contact point size set to 0.3 mm. For delicate features like the teapot spout, manually add localized reinforcement supports to prevent warping or deformation.
- Skirt Feature Required: Activate the skirt function with a width of 5–6 mm and a single layer to stabilize the base of the tea table, preventing edge lifting while also helping to monitor consistent extrusion from the nozzle.
- Multi‑Part Printing: The model is divided into four independent components—tea table, teapot, teacup, and saucer—each printed separately before assembly. We recommend adding a 0.1 mm tolerance to ensure tight, seamless joins.

Estimated Print Time

Based on a 0.2 mm layer height and 15% infill, the total print time is approximately 6–7 hours.

- Tea Table: ~2.5 hours
- Teapot: ~1.5 hours
- Teacup + Saucer: ~2 hours
Support structures will add roughly 30 minutes to the overall print time.

🧩 Assembly Instructions

1. Remove Supports: Once printing is complete, allow the model to cool to room temperature, then carefully use needle‑nosed pliers to remove supports, paying special attention to delicate areas such as the teapot spout and table legs to avoid scratching the surface.
2. Sand and Finish: Use 400–800 grit sandpaper to smooth out any residual support marks, followed by 1000 grit sandpaper for a polished, ultra‑smooth finish.
3. Assemble and Join: Simply place the teapot and teacups onto the surface of the tea table to complete assembly—no additional glue is required. If extra stability is desired, apply a small amount of double‑sided tape to key contact points to reinforce the connection.
4. Optional Finishing Touches: Apply a wood‑grain finish coat to the tea table surface, or lightly accent the teapot with a soft, pale blue glaze to further enhance its lifelike, authentic appearance.
