A waste-material chute specially designed for the CC2 printer, addressing the challenge of collecting filament waste when the machine is placed against a wall.
The chute features a three-section smooth-flow guiding structure that incorporates three angular transitions, ensuring that waste material slides smoothly into the collection bin under gravity while also providing ample clearance for operation—without obstructing the printer’s power switch or requiring you to move the machine every time you need to dispose of waste.
Installation involves directly securing the chute to the printer’s existing mounting holes, eliminating the need for additional drilling or modifications. The component is integrally molded with the printer body, and its surface has been smoothed to prevent filament from getting stuck.
The design includes a 100×100 mm clearance at both the width and height, allowing easy access for powering on and off.
